NCCAV welcomed transportation professionals from across the state for a hands-on demonstration of its cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology.
Representatives from NCSITE, including TEC Chair Caroline Cheeves and TPC Chair Kristina Whitfield, P.E., AICP, joined the visit as part of a joint committee meeting. Held at A&T’s North Campus, the event showcased the university’s growing role in shaping the future of mobility through research and innovation.
The visit began with a technical briefing by members of the CR2C2 research team, providing an overview of the Aggie Auto shuttle system and the test track infrastructure supporting the initiative. Attendees then experienced a ride in the autonomous shuttles, gaining firsthand insight into the program’s real-world applications.
